The chairpersons missionary station on the Assassination of President Kennedy, known unofficially as the Warren Commission, was established on November 27, 1963, by Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate the assassination of U.S President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Its final compensate was presented to President Johnson on September 24, 1964, and was made public three days later. The Commission was conducted to evaluate matters relating to the assassination and the subsequent killing of the alleged assassin, and to report its findings and conclusions to him.

The Commissions findings have since proven controversial and been both challenged and supported by later studies.
The report established the following:
-The shots that killed President Kennedy and injure Governor Connally were fired from the sixth floor window at the southeast corner of the Texas School Book Depository.

-The same bullet which pierced the Presidents throat also caused Governor Connallys wounds.
-The shots that killed President Kennedy and wounded Governor Connally were fired by Lee Harvey Oswald.
