EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The United States and Canada are both very influential countries who have two dissimilar ways of looking at health apprehension. In the United States, governing mostly helps the poor, elderly, and disabled. In Canada everyone learns insurance from the government.
This paper discusses the similarities and differences of both countries in five different aspects; government involvement, price of health care and administrative overheads, coverage and access, wait times, and life expectancy and infant mortality.
In 1999 the United States spent a total of $1,059 per capita in health care administration. The United States is the richest country in the introduction and has more affluent societies however the US is spending more in healthcare than less affluent countries. The United States mustiness reduce the overhead spending in healthcare and part implementing a health care system similar to Canada and a healthier lifestyle for all Americans. (Woolhandler, Campbell, & Himmelstein 2003).
PROBLEM OR ISSUE STATEMENT
The United States and Canada may share similarities in geography, but when it comes to health care, the two countries could not be more different....
