Baptism Preparation Classes
In order to offer the best support for parents in preparing for a nestlings baptism, our parish has revised its baptismal preparation process. This two step process is designed to help parents gain the sacrament of baptism and to support them in their role of helping their child to fully live the gifts received in baptism.
For the First rate of the process, parents meet with a priest or deacon. To schedule an appellative with a priest, deacon, or intern, please contact the parish office at 258-1161 or Theresa@stmaustin.org. Appointments depart be available beginning in March.
For the Second Step of the process, both parents and godparents attend a baptism class. reference April 5th baptism classes entrust be held on the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm in Brennan Auditorium. Parents can schedule a time to participate in the class during their meeting with a priest or deacon.
The legitimate schedule of baptism classes on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in the Family Center at 2:00 pm will run through the end of February. During March there will be no baptism classes, but you may meet with a priest, deacon, or intern to schedule a class in April or later.
During Lent, which begins on February 25th, there will be no baptisms.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Every Saturday of the month 4:00 to 4:45 pm and 6:00 to 6:30 pm.
