From an early board, my chosen profession has been primary teaching. I would interchangeable to be part of the learning have a go at it, helping to make a difference and be a positive influence to children as they pass to the educational forms. I do realise that at that place are umteen other aspects involved in the lean of a primary teacher, including planning and preparing lessons, marking the childrens shape, guardianship records and maintaining discipline in the classroom. I am aware that the work will be demanding and may require commitment international of school hours.

Transition year gave me the opportunity to develop many skills. My team up work skills have greatly improved with my community in the musical, High School Musical. In this I knowing to work to a goal, be reliable and give original assistance to my co-stars! The mini company was another great team building experience. This gave me experience in working with others, being imaginative with ideas for fundraising, the designing, producing and sale of the hats and scarfs with the schools crest. The creation of the school magazine publisher was an insight into directing, editing and researching subjects for inclusion in what turned turn up to be a great school magazine. For my work experience I chose to go to a local primary school.



I spent two days with the 6th class (10-12) mature assemblage and three days with the junior and senior infants(4-6) age group. This gave me a great insight into teaching and I could reveal how working with the different age groups varied. I learned a great deal about the practical end of teaching, by means of talking to the teachers and classroom assistants. Also from Christmas of fifth year until Christmas of sixth year a group of twenty students were picked out of the year to take part in the role of prefect. I was gilt enough to be one of the students chosen and During my role as prefect I learned many leadership qualities.
