Chambers and Wall (2000) apprise that a correct mentor should include qualities of hvirtuososty, enthusiasm, trust, patience, knowledge, experience and empathy. They should also be open to have a non-judgmental attitude and good interpersonal skills.
For this mentorship cover I have been allocated a second year shaver branch school-age child. She has had little to no experience working with neonates, just now has worked on a childrens ward. Her placement will give out 10 weeks and she has been allocated 2 mentors. For the first week of her placement she worked with me solidly.
