Every year around Christmas time, the association service program I volunteer for (Newton Athletes Serving Community- ASC) helps unwrap at an event titled Christmas in the City. During this event, multiple dispossessed shelters gather to be served freshly baked food and listen to live music. This past Christmas in the City, it was my job to bring the meals to the tables. ane particular table, with a mother and her four children stood out. The mother radiated a presence of amiability and warmth. In between serving food, I sat and talked with her. Her name was Rhonda, and I learned that although she had a job, (as a single mother) with four mouths to feed and school materials to buy, minimum engross did not suffice, and thus Rosies Place of Boston was their invariable residence.
Even more prodigious than Rhondas valiant clip ethic and her maternal nature, was her perception on life. She was optimistic and enthusiastic, and oerall excited to be alive. Living in a homeless shelter hadnt brought her spirits down at all. And looking for into Rhondas childrens eyes, you could tell that they were happy, too, because of the abundance of love from their mother.
As I write this essay, I realize how fortunate I am and feel truly thankful. It is a blessing to devour the opportunity to obtain a college education, rather than having to struggle over where I may sleep or eat for the night. My diddle with the Rhonda only makes me feel more...If you want to get a to the full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
