Winter wonderland
nominate you ever had a white Christmas in a wintertime wonderland? Well, I did and it happened to be my initiative white Christmas. I soundless remember the beautiful Douglas fir that my Father-in-law cut down for us to decorate. Also, the many diametrical smells of the Christmas dinner my husband and mother-in-law prepared. I volition never forget cuddling up with my husband on that cold night in front of the warm fireplace. This Christmas get out stay in my mind as the best matchless yet.
As soon as you walk thru the door the first thing that catches your eye is a magnificent Douglas fir tree diagram that was covered in beautiful decorations. At the tip twitch of the tree was a little white angle with a silver halo. She wore a white robe that covered her correct body. The lite glow that she let off, gave everyone a sense of peace, equal Jesus himself was watching over everyone and keeping us all told in all safe. Next, there were all different sizes, colors, and shapes of glass ordainments that hung on the tree. Also, different colors of lights that would twinkle demand the stars on a sporting night. Finally, the strong, intoxicating scent of pine needles engulfed the house. The huge tree was so beautiful that it made us all feel so small in comparison.
By 6pm we were finally ready to posture down for the traditional feast. Everyone was ready to tear into the food like a pack of hungry wolves. The tremendous aroma of all the foods filled the air and my mouth began to water for the anticipation of the meal. First, I reached for a piece of the turkey and topped it with the homemade gravy. Next, I put a scoop of my husbands celebrated ranch mashed potatoes on the side of my plate. Then, I added the cranberry sauce to fetch up my meal. After that, I grab a cup of mommas homemade punch. Then, we all sat down and had a prayer before we tasted this wonderful meal. My first bite was of the drear roasted turkey that took all evening to cook.
