Everyday, somewhere on earth, a person gets abducted. Whether it is for torture, ransom money or someones own sick pleasure the manage is still the same, abduction. To abduct someone means to forcefully require someone against their will by physical means or otherwise. No matter where you are in the world abduction is a serious problem and can be seen all throughout history. In America, one of the most infamous cases of abduction listed by the FBI is the abduction of Charles Lindbergh Jr., the baby son of the famed aviator Charles Lindbergh. According to them, after the ransom was paid the baby was found weeks later buried a few miles away from the Lindbergh home. This travesty was considered the crime of the century tho as time progressed more abductions began to occur. After the events of 9/11, the U.S. contumacious to focus their attention on Iraq, where they believed the terrorists responsible were located. Reporters from many various countries were sent there to inform the public on what was pass on as more troops were macrocosm deployed to contend.
soon after being sent over, news stations from all over the country started reporting that the terrorists, known as Al Qaeda, began to abduct reporters in attempts to get the U.S. to leave Iraq. It is because of these many incidents that I believe that the world should start a new fight to end the atrocity known as abduction.
Abduction is a problem faced all around the world that isnt being directly dealt with by our peoples government to efficaciously stop it.
