The Strokes
A euphonyal group that has influenced and inspired me the most is The Strokes. The Strokes thrust not rightfully made an impact on my life, only has been more like a friend who is there for me whenever I need them. They influence me to think differently near roughly topics as a positive guide, and their lyrics are always adequate for me to forget all of my daily stresses. I also have intercourse listening to them the most.
Their music alters mainstream media, and I feel like it is key for people to listen to music that has actual meaning. Music like a shot just is not the same anymore in my opinion. Whether Im feeling down, or if I just demand to listen to some tunes for fun, I can always bank on their music.
The Strokes is an Alternative/ Indie rock bent from red-hot York consisting of five members: Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr., Nokolai Fraiture, and Fabrizio Moretti. Each of them are unique, however in my opinion Julian, (lead vocalist) is the most important. Hes the superstar who started it all, and most importantly, composes their songs.
Being yourself is the mess succession behind most of the bands lyrics, and that is the motto that I live by. Julians creativity is what inspires me to be unique.



A lot of people my age right now I find, do not really branch out of the genre hip hop, rap, pop, and electronic. The first thing you hear on the radio is upbeat and loud gondola tuned noises with no meaning behind the words whatsoever. Studies have rase shown that 90% of all pop songs are either about sex, drugs, alcohol, and/ or money. In this day and age, I think music is what influences kids the most, and since those particular mainstream genres are most popular right now, I think its pretty sad. Listening to songs that are cryptograph but noise with no meaning isnt what sets you unconnected from the rest at all. It makes you boring.
