evolutionary Psychology vs. Standard companionable Science Model Evolutionary Psychology (EP) looks at how we view human behavior. The Standard Social Science Model (SSSM) is what most people cast prove and believed for many years. The SSSM believes that the influence on human behavior is feel and culture. Both theories believe that there is a human genius that all people shargon as infants. The two models similarly disagree in many ways. The EP model believes that man is manage all other species and is controlled by intelligences to survive and fight for themselves, and that our staple fiber human nature comes from the existence as cave hands and hunters. The SSSM believes that we are born and then we grow from our experiences, environment and culture, and that biologic influence on behavior and not as important. On the other hand the EP model believes that we are driven by hunger, thirst and sex. Durant believes that laws and morals control our cave men instincts, and that our instincts pee gone wild. He believes that this will lead to a termination that will restore morality.
I agree that we all curb a human nature to survive and we have the instinct to fight for others as well as ourselves. We also have the basic biological needs such as aegis and food. The SSSM model believes that society has a strong influence on an individuals nature. They believe we are formed based on our learned experiences throughout deportment. They also believe that we are do by the culture and the society that surrounds us. The SSSM makes more sense to me and that we are born with needs and we develop more into them as we go through the stages of our lives. I also think that cultural influences and life experiences help to form who we are as individuals and play a big part on our behaviors.
